Injuries received in a traffic accident on Ohio route 49, south of Edgerton,
on Tuesday evening, Dec. 18, proved fatal to Glenn R. Morris, 47, Hicksville
mechanic, who died early Thursday morning in Community Hospital at
Hicksville. He suffered from shock, chest and other injuries. Mr. Morris had

laceration across the forehead. The body of Mr. Morris was removed to the
Schilb Mortuary at Hicksville. Funeral arrangements await word from a son,
Vernon, in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. Rev. Wallace Jones of the Church of
Christ will conduct the rites. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mr.
Morris spent most of his life in Hicksville. Besides the son, Vernon, he
leaves three daughters, Eva, Bonnie and Bessie, at home; two grandchildren,
and a sister, Mrs. Elmer Chaney, of Milford township, Defiance County.
