Louisa E. Hockman Rath
Mrs. Louisa E. Hockman Rath was born in Tiffin Township, February 2nd, 1861, she died January 15, 1916, aged 55 years, 11 months and 13 days. On March 10, 1881, she was united in marriage to William P. Rath. To this union was born 8 children. In her early days she was converted to God, and she always belonged to the M.E. Church. Her illness was of short duration. She leaves by her death, a companion, 5 sons and 3 daughters and nine grand children, an aged mother, one brother and a half sister, and a host of relatives and friends. We miss thee from our home, dear mother, We miss thee from thy place. A shadow over our life is east, We miss the sunshine of thy face. We miss thy kind and willing hand, thy fond and earnest care. Our home is dark without thee. We miss thee everywhere.

William Rath
Services for William Rath were held Tuesday at 230 p.m. in the Tiffin Township home of his daughter, Mrs. Orley Sp-iser with Rev. R.B. Maurer, Evangelical minister, officiating. Burial was made in the McCauley Cemetery
The pall bearers were Albert Sigg, William Deepe, Chauncey Rittenhouse, George Miller, N.E. Peterson and Emery Travis.
Grandchildren were flower carriers.
