JONAS MACK, 72, DIED NEAR NEY
Funeral services for Jonas Mack, 72, who died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Washington township near Ney today, will be held Monday at 930 in the Marysdale Catholic church, of which he was a member. Rev. Paul Brissel will officiate and burial will take place in Marysdale cemetery. Mr. Mack, who was born in Wyandot county March 14, 1862, had lived in the Ney community for 69 years since coming here at the age of three years. He had spent practically his entire life on the same farm where he died and was one of the county's successful tillers of the soil. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Mack, to whom he was married at Marysdale, Dec. 29, 1890, and eight children Christa and Carl, Ney; Elanor, Marcus, Freida and Ann Elizabeth, Toledo; Lawrence, Defiance, and Catherine, at home. There are nine grandchildren.

Last rites for Jonas Mack were held Monday at 930 a.m. in the Marysdale Catholic church, with Rev. Father Paul Brissel of Delaware Bend, officiating. Burial was made in the Marysdale cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Joseph Sisco, James Spurgeon, Edward Batt, Albert Pahl, Peter Hasselschwardt and Michael Gerber. Active pallbearers were William, Albert and Justin Mack, and John, Edward and Frank Kolb. Grandchildren were flower carriers John Pierce, Robert, Wilbur, James, Frances and Helen Rose Mack.
