August Pracht aged 66 years, died at his home on Rulf street, East Defiance, Friday afternoon. The funeral was held at the house Monday afternoon at 130. Services at Saint John's Lutheran church conducted by Rev. Zucker at 2 o'colock

Mrs Pracht Expires Here Funeral Services will be held Thursday Afternoon

Mrs Mary Pracht 68 wife of Williams Pracht who had been in failing health for seven years died at 4 am today at her home on Main street, from a complication of deseases. Mrs Pracht's last illness had been for the last week. The funeral will be held Thursday, with services at 230 pm at the home and at 3 pm at St John's Lutheran church with Rev OG Hevestreit officiating. Burial will be made in Riverside cemetery. Mrs Pracht was born at Hanover Germany on Dec 16 1861 and came to Defiance from the old country in 1882 and had lived here ever since. Mr and Mrs Pracht were married here in 1885. She is survived by her husband, and four children. William Pracht, St. Charles Illinois, Mis Hattie and Otto Pracht and Mrs Thomas Guilian of Defiance. A son Martin died three years ago.

William Pracht Dies at age 70 Beteran Turnbull Employe to be Buried Monday Afternoon

William Pracht for fifty years an employe of the old Turnbull Wagon Company and succeeding plants here until his retirement tow years ago because of ill health died Thursday at 445pm at his home on Main st. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm in the home and at 230pm in St John's Lutheran Church of which he was a member during the 51 years he lived in Defiance. The pastor OG Hevestreit, will officiate Riverside cemetery will be the place of burial. Mr Pracht was born in a suburb of Berlin, Germany on July 2 1862. He came to America with his parents the late Mr and Mrs Aguust Pracht in 1881 and settled in Defiance. He was married in 1885 to Mis Mary Esensee who came to this country from Germany in 1885. Mrs Pracht passed away in 1930. Surviving are two sons and two daughters W.L. Pracht St Charles Illinois, O.F. Pracht Defiance, Miss Hattie Pracht at home and Mrs Tom Guilliam Defiance; eleven grandchildren. A brother Gust Pracht Ann Arbor Mich, and two sisters Mrs Louis Pracht Fort Wayne Ind and Mrs John Kiessling Marshall Mich. A son Martin died in 1927.

August Pracht Dies of Heart Trouble

Washington Ave. Resident is Survived by four children, three brothers and two sisters August Pracht died of heart trouble at 430 pm yesterday at his home on Washington ave. He was 65 years 1 months and 21 days olds Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm from the home and at 230pm from St. John's Lutheran church with Rev CH Schroeder of the South Ridge Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be made in Riverside. Mr Pracht is survived by four children, ten grandchidren, three brother and two sisters. His wife proceded him in death two years ago. His children are Mrs William Holdepriem and Mrs Edward Haase both of Flint Mich and William and John both of Detroit. Brothers are Louis of Ayersville ave, William of Main st and August of Ann Arbor Mich, and sisters Mrs John Hisseling Hillsdale Mich and Mrs Louis Pracht of Fort Wayne Ind.
