Welcome to the East Cuyahoga County Genealogical Society

You’ve come to the right place to begin or further your search for
ancestors in the East Cuyahoga County area.

Please take a few moments to look around the web site. Here you
can learn about our history, check out our meeting schedule, find
membership applications, learn about our Lineage Societies, and so
much more.

If you have family who lived in Cuyahoga County, or if you yourself are
a resident and would like to dive into genealogical research, we invite
you to join our group.

The river isn’t burning anymore, but our quest for family history still is!
We would love to have you join us.

Kindest Regards,

Karen Ewers McHugh
President, ECCGS

Cleveland Cemetery Project

The index links to the interment register images!
