Welcome to our Web Site!

We're glad you’ve come to visit to see what we’re all about.

We’re an organization of people:
  • who are enthusiastic about getting to know where we came from, who our ancestors were, and what their world was like;
  • who are anxious to see that records are available to any genealogist - enough to spend time copying, indexing, and either posting on-line or publishing them for others’ use;
  • who enjoy the company of people who share the same interest; and
  • who generally just love the search.

Along the way we’ve developed some parallel skills:
  • we can decipher old-fashioned handwriting-- complete with misspellings, and sometimes in foreign languages;
  • we can climb ‘brick walls’;
  • we’ve developed a whole new language that consists mostly of acronyms;
  • we’ve learned to use the computer well enough to have a love/hate relationship with it;
  • we spend a lot of time wandering around cemeteries, reading weather-worn headstones;
  • we’re great at problem-solving and question-asking; AND,
  • we can drink coffee, eat cookies and have animated conversations all at the same time, usually while standing up!

Come and visit one of our meetings - we’d love to meet you.

Even more, we’d love to have you join us!

Cleveland Cemetery Project

Members and interested others have indexed the
City of Cleveland owned cemeteries.
That project can be seen at the Cleveland District Round Table site.
The index links to the interment register images!
A big thank you to all who helped make this data available to all.
