These may be members of the Blue family. The Blues married into the Shields family. The individual sitting in the front in the group photograph may be Nora D. Blue as she bears some resemblance to the individual image on the right.

Nora’s parents were William Blue (b. April 1858, OH) and Bessie A. Mellon (b. Dec 1861, OH). Bessie’s mother was Matilda Mellon (b. Jul 1838, PA). William was a dealer in farm stock in Forest during the 1880s. Bessie’s sister, Floy Mellon, married a Mr. __ Strasser. During the census in June, 1900 they were all living together in Forest.

Nora D. Blue married Hallie Dale Shields. She was born in September, 1881.
