The photograph to the right has been identified as Grace (Fugate) Holtzmuller¹ standing on a sidewalk in Forest. Grace was a teacher for the Forest schools. In 1949 she and her husband were faculty and a board member respectively.

Grace was married to Dr. J.F. Holtzmuller who practiced medicine in Forest for many years and had an office on Gormley street behind the P.D. Lehman grocery. The Lehman and Holtzmuller families had a close relationship.
