It is believed that the woman holding the baby (Moores?) is Olive Moore.

The photograph is of a baby (unknown #1) sitting for a portrait, circa 1900.

Olive Moore married John Henrietta and if the photograph is of the Moores, then left to right are probably John Henrietta Jr., Olive (Moore) Henrietta holding her? baby, two unknown children, Olive’s brother-in-law, John Henrietta’s step-father, and __ Henrietta, John Henrietta’s mother. John may be the one behind the camera.

Camp Campbell Gard

This couple (Camp Campbell Gard) may be C. McG__ and friend or wife . They were friends of Robert Paris & Naomi Ruth (Wright) Lehman. The Lehmans were originally from Forest, but moved to Wadsworth in the 1930s, then to Medina, both in Ohio. Robert worked as a linotype operator for the Cleveland Press, Cleveland, Ohio. Off and on he also did linotype work for A.I. Root, Medina, Ohio and set the type for A.I. Root’s book on bees. At CCG campers acquired values and learned self reliance and sportsmanship. Emphasis was placed on the development of interpersonal skills and the building of character and self-confidence with activities including: swimming, canoeing, archery, horseback riding, a nature center, basketball, tennis, mountain biking, arts & crafts, a challenge course, fishing, dancing, and water skiing.

Willard P. Edie

Willard Preston Edie married Carrie Violet Moore. Carrie’s father was Leander Lindley Moore. Leander is buried in Hueston cemetery near Forest, Ohio.

Young Unknown Boy

The boy (Young unknown boy) is standing in front of the P.D. Lehman home which was located at the northeast corner of Mary and Lima streets, Forest, Ohio. The home still stands. Paris Dupler Lehman was a grocer in Forest from 1904 until he died of a heart attack in 1933. He was so well liked that for his funeral the entire town turned out. He is buried in Hueston cemetery near Forest.

Clara B. Gibson

Clarence S. Meeks (Clara B. Gibson) worked with sheet metal at the Dickelman Manfacturing plant. Charles S. and his wife Alta lived on Dixon street in Forest.

Unknown Boy

We do not know anything about this photograph (unknown boy). The young man has the same features as the individual in the previous photograph (Young unknown boy), except he seems older. It may be the same individual. (no date)

These may be Lindley 'Linnie' Oliver Moore relations (Two unknown females), circa 1920.
