Professor E.O. Yates was the Superintendent of the Mt. Blanchard schools in 1907. He presided over the graduation cermonies there that year.

Mt. Blanchard Middle School Being Razed

This photograph was taken during the destruction of the Mt. Blanchard Middle School on March 21, 2004. When the new Riverdale high school opened in September, 2004, all elementary and middle schools were closed and students moved to the new school on SR37 two miles north of US30.
