tella E. (Buess) Edgington.

FOREST - Stella E. Edgington, 109 W. Dixon St., Forest, died at her residence at 5:38 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003. She was 88. Born in Forest on Dec. 29, 1914, she was a daughter of Henry and Lola (Brown) Buess. She married L. Merritt "Bo" Edgington on April 12, 1936. He died Oct. 19, 1964. Surviving are a daughter, Sally Tinsman, Fostoria; four grandchildren, Nancy Lipscomb, Bucyrus; Eric Tinsman and Julie Tinsman, Mansfield; and Amy Tinsman, Fostoria; a great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Isabelle Marquart, Arlington; and Agnes Crates, Ada. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Fred, John and Floyd Buess and Roy Burnett; three sisters, Thelma Baker, Nina Exline and Ruthanna Buess; and a great-grandson. A 1933 graduate of Forest High School, Mrs. Edgington was a retired librarian at the Forest-Jackson Public Library. She formerly operated Edgington Dry Cleaning in Forest. She attended Forest United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and a former financial secretary of the church. Mrs. Edgington was a member of Lehman Zimmerman American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 259 and * et 40, Forest; Pythian Sisters No. 75, Forest; Latham Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 70, Kenton; and a former board of elections member in Forest. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Shields Funeral Home, Forest, with the Rev. Brett Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery, Forest. Visitation is today from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Forest United Methodist Church, Forest Jackson Public Library Building Fund or Hardin Hospice Care, Kenton.1
