Looking for information concerning Nathan RAWLINGS (1750-1821), who settled in Ohio after living in KY.  His wife was the former Mary RANKIN.  Nathan was apparently a Justice of the Peace in Franklin County, but had children associated in Pickaway County.  I have recently completed a short history of Nathan and family, but welcome any and all information I can get concerning this and related families.  Nathan lived in Ohio from about 1800-1816.  His nephew, Samuel RAWLINGS, settled in Fayette County and died there in 1837.  Perhaps there are
records of both men in the county.

My maternal grandmother Nona E. DEVER was born in Washington Courthouse on
June 6, 1887. She died February 1, 1959, at the age of 72. She married
Claude E. OAKLEY abt 1921. Claude's mother's bible says that he married a
Nona Harris. Was Nona married before Claude?? My mother said she kind of
remembered that name. My mother also said Nona's parents were Sampson James DEVER and
Elizabeth SHIELDS. I have been unable to find any information on Nona. I
know she had relatives in Portsmouth, Chillicothe and Jackson, Ohio.
Unfortunately, there's every DEVER but my DEVER's. Can anyone help. I'll be taking a trip
through Elliott County, Ky. (Claude's birthplace) and up through Ashland,
Ky.. Then cross the river to Portsmouth, Chillicothe, and W.C.H., Ohio. I'll be
up there the end of October. If anyone can help, it will be much appreciated.
Thanx Dave Stone from Orlando (originally from Cincy)
