Looking for ANY info on Uriah W. PAXTON who married Rachel CHRISTY on March 24, 1846 in Fayette Co. Ohio. They had one son Uriah Hinton Paxton b. Feb. 15, 1847, Uriah W. Paxton died before his son was born in Fayette Co. Ohio but don't know when or where he is buried or who his parents are. Rachel CHRISTY PAXTON, daughter of John Christy, married Samuel ARMSTRONG on Feb. 17, 1850 in Ohio. They were later divorced.The family later moved to Tipton Co. Indiana. Apparently orphaned as a very young child, then lived with William and Mary Ann (PITZER) WEST of Clinton Co. OH. Seeking information on the Cline line starting with Ralph Waldo Cline who married Mayme Katherine Caldwell Anderson. His father was Zachariah Wm who married Jeanette McCoy,and grandfather John married Sarah?. Mayme's father was Wallace sho married Mary A. Pattan, grandfather Joseph who married Francis Jones. I have census reports for those years but will gladly take any other family info anyone has. The Clines are from Bloomingsburg - Ross County area but the Caldwells are from Fayette County. Zachariah is buried in Washington Cemetery in Washington Ct. House. Thanks for the help.

David and William Quirk lived togeather in1870. Davids citzen papers are dated 1863 Fayette Co. Rose Ellen Murray was Davids wife she is burried in New Holland cemetary 1846-1899. Mills, who enlised from Fayette County in September, 1861, then initially served in Co. K of the 44th OVI, then were transferred to Co. K, 8th Ohio Cavalry in January, 1864. Seeking information on PETER BROWN born c1790. He married ELIZABETH BATEMAN in Ross County on February 16, 1815. PETER BROWN died in Fayettr County on March 8, 1858 Peter BROWN land speculator, moved from Chillicothe to Latham and amassed a great fortune. He lived in M.E. Preachers home, donated to colleges, churches, and welfare institutions. He was a soldier who served in Henry Brush Rutledge & Llioyds Co. Ohio Militia. Widow also lived in Wyandotte County, Kansas. Greenlawn Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio In memory of Margaret daughter of Peter and Elizabeth BROWN died July 24, 1826 5Years, 6Months, 20Days. Peter BROWN was a private in the War of 1812. He served from July 20 to October 4, 1812 in Capt. Henry Brush Co. Chillicothe, Aug 24, 1812, Peter BROWN, private enlisted service July 20 to August 24, 1812.

According to John's daughter Malinda (Thomas) GRAHAM's obit., he was of Scotch-Irish descent. Elizabeth was said to be the daughter of a gentleman and lady who emigrated from Germany.

My hubby is descended from John via son Jesse R. He (and frankly, so am I!) are desperate to find more concrete info regarding the named. These dates, etc., are from obits., family histories, etc., of descendants; we have little else to go on.
