For many years I was researching the marriage of Solomon PONSLER and Margaret HARRISON in Shelby County, Illinois. After 30 years it dawned on me that since Solomon was in Shelby County when his 1st wife Chloe Malinda BRECKENRIDGE died (and whom he married in Franklin County, Ohio in 1847) and he went to Ohio to marry his 1st wife's best friend Margaret HARRISON, who was widowed (and I don't know if this is her maiden name or married name of 1st husband) but the date I have for this marriage is September 12, 1867. Is there anyone in Franklin County, Ohio who could check this out for me? If there is a record I would like to get a copy of same, so would like the name and address of where to write for it. MCGRAW, I am trying to find any information about my mothers family. They lived in Columbus Ohio. My mothers name was Margaret Eilean McGraw, she had three brothers. Seeking information about my grgrgrandfather Jonathan HATCHER who came to Columbus with Elizabeth GARDNER HATCHER from Zanesville abt 1881. He established The Columbus Casket Works with his sons. Very shortly he remarried with Roberta [ MOSS ?]. He died June 1906. AGE 92 YEARS. A will can't be found. News clippings would be a help, like obit. He is listed in the 1882 city directory. I am looking for information on the marriage of William Valentine BEECHER and Julian A. BEECHER, in Franklin Co., April 3, 1853. William is the son of Benjamin BEECHER and Margaret FINNEY, both born in Pennsylvania, and Julian is the daughter of William BEECHER and Julia CARPENTER, also both born in Pennsylvania.
