Surnames: BRECKENRIDGE, HARRISON, PONSLER
Researcher: Antoinette Waughtel Sorensen
Email: waughtel@oz.net
Date posted: Sunday, November 2, 1997

For many years I was researching the marriage of Solomon PONSLER and Margaret HARRISON in Shelby County, Illinois. After 30 years it dawned on me that since Solomon was in Shelby County when his 1st wife Chloe Malinda BRECKENRIDGE died (and whom he married in Franklin County, Ohio in 1847) and he went to Ohio to marry his 1st wife's best friend Margaret HARRISON, who was widowed (and I don't know if this is her maiden name or married name of 1st husband) but the date I have for this marriage is September 12, 1867. Is there anyone in Franklin County, Ohio who could check this out for me? If there is a record I would like to get a copy of same, so would like the name and address of where to write for it. Thank you for reading this. Antoinette Waughtel Sorensen
