I am looking for information on JOHN REED, my paternal great-grandfather, who was born somewhere in the state of Ohio sometime between 1860 and 1875 and was living and working in Richmond, Virginia between 1890 and 1895. I believe that he died around 1900. This individual may appear only as a notation on a related family group, i.e. a 'lost' son, nephew, or uncle, etc. My grandfather's name was Ellsworth Theophilus REED, and Ellsworth may be a recurring family name for males. Any information which could establish John Reed's parentage would be greatly appreciated! My thanks to all concerned.

I'm looking for information about the parents of John LEE, who is said to have been born in Franklin Co. Ohio on December 26th, 1797. His parents were Samuel and Mary Evelyn LEE. Perhaps as early as 1807 this LEE family moved to Bond Co. Illinois. Thirty years later, after Samuel's death, his wife and children moved to Henry Co. Iowa. I have no further solid information about Samuel and Mary Evelyn LEE. There is circumstantial evidence that Samuel may have lived in North Carolina before moving to Ohio. Thanks for your help.
