Certificate of death, which was taken from information given by Thomas E.
Jones, has her as being 78 years old when she died of pneumonia. Father is
listed as George Polson, mother is listed as Mary Simms ???? (not at all
clear). However, the 1850 Census for Gates County shows only one Mary E.
Polson, and she is the daughter of Nancey Polson. Maybe I can find the answer
in Raleigh. CJR 9/12/91
