The occurances of Cundiffs with no proven relationship in Virginia as they move
west. as noted by GLR. The original Cundiff appears to have come to
Northumberland Co, VA from Wales. The Name is Welsh. They traveled to
Lancaster Co. then to Bedford Co, VA. They seem to travel with Moodys, Hailes
and Ayers since these names are always in the same location. They lived near
each other and worked together. GLR Feb 1991
