the courthouse fire of 1864.
There are a very few marriage records that
were re-registered.

Where to obtain Fulton County Records??
Notice:
Due to restructuring
and budget cuts,
the Fulton County Records Department staffing has
been cut to one person and she will be retiring this Fall. For
the time being the office will now be closed during lunch period.
The responsibilities will eventually be taken over by the Recorders
Office with the current Records Administrator to provide
training of the staff. The current administrator is going to be out of office on
Friday, June 12, 2009 so it will be CLOSED. If
planning a major research trip to the Fulton County Records Center
this Summer during the transition you
may want to call in advance to make sure the office will be open and
that there will be adequate staff available to assist you.

records from the old county infirmary known by many as the "County Poorhouse"

formed until 1850
and was comprised of parts of these three
