Delta Sesquicentennial Event

“Bands Pick n Play”

February 23rd, 2013

at The Delta American Legion Hall

5:30 pm to 11:00pm


Plan on coming out for an evening of fun starting with food and drinks

from the Canteen, prepared & served by  the Legion Auxiliary starting

at 5:30 p.m.   Door Prizes and 50/50 Raffles and throughout the

evening listening to some great sounds of many local musicians.

FREE admission

 

There will also be a container for you to drop off a canned food item

or a non-perishable item – to be given to Delta Food Pantry at Open Door.


 

6:00– 7:30 Open Jam Session

While enjoying your food you can listen to an “open jam” session with the musical group “Monday Night Jam’s”.  If you enjoy jamming, this is your chance to bring your guitar, banjo, bass or other and join in the fun.  This group meets every Monday evening  at the Delta Church  of Christ.  Bluegrass, Country, Folk, etc., all pickers that play acoustic instruments or sing are welcome.

 

 

7:30 – 9:30  “B*A*S*I*S”

 

with local resident Steve Ebersole on bass guitar. This band has a

great following from the Delta, Toledo and surrounding  area.

9:30 – 11:00  “New Horizon Praise Band”

The New Horizon praise and worship band plays at the New Horizon Church in Delta Ohio. The band has been together for five years in it’s current form. The band plays contemporary Christian music from well known Christian bands like Casting Crowns, Newsboys, Chris Tomlin and others. The band members are:

Chris Bierie – bass guitar, Swanton

Jim Boone – guitar and vocals, Delta

Lynn Zenz – drums and vocals, Swanton

Jan Perkins – vocals, Toledo

Matt Perkins - sound

Frank Pollzzie – guitar and vocals, Swanton

Aaron Fowler – keyboards, Whitehouse

 

NEW HORIZON PRAISE BAND
