the Speakers
Jana
Sloan Broglin
Jana
is a native of northwest Ohio and has been a professional genealogist for
over 20 years. She has lectured at the local, state, and national level,
is a freelance writer, and is currently the author of the Kentucky Wills
project. Jana is a member of the Board
of
Trustees of the Ohio Genealogical Society and was named a “Kentucky Colonel”
for her over 30 publications on Kentucky.
Amy
Johnson Crow
Amy
is a Certified Genealogist, specializing in Ohio research, especially counties
in the central and south
eastern
part of the state. She has lectured at the state
and
national level, has written numerous articles for
genealogical
publications and is the recipient of the
FGS
Distinguished Service Award. Amy is on the Executive Board of the Ohio
Genealogical Society
and
is a trustee for the Association of Professional Genealogists.
Karen
Smith
Karen
has been actively involved in genealogy as a beginning genealogy instructor
to school children and
adults
and has lectured at the state and national level.
She
is the past editor for the Ohio Genealogical Society’s newsletter and is
very active in her local chapter, the Fairfield County Chapter, OGS. She
is the past 3rd Vice President of the Ohio Genealogical Society and is
a member of the National Genealogical Society and the Association of Professional
Genealogists. |
