KNEPP - I am searching for information on, or descendants of Andrew J. and Melinda KNEPP. They had a son, John Andrew, born on 1-19-1867, in York Center. We believe there were at least two other sons. The name may have been spelled KNEPPE or KNEPPER.

My 3ggfather,Christian SCHLAPPI,Swiss immigrant, moved to Delta area in 1834, with 5 grown children, who promptly married into the families MCQUILLING, SALISBURY, and ZIMMERMAN. My 2ggfather, Samuel SCHLAPPI, married (1840) Mary ZIMMERMAN, dau. of John and Hannah (MCQUILLING) ZIMMERMAN, from Somerset Co., PA. Came to Ohio in 1828. In 1833, were living in Holmes Co.,OH. Moved to Delta area in 1839. John and Hannah had twelve children: Mary, David, Harriet, John, Jacob, Lydia, Rebecca, Emma. Many family members are buried in Salisbury Cem.,Pike Twnshp.

My 3ggfather Christian SCHLAPPI, who was granted land in Delta area in 1834, imigrated from the canton of Bern, Switzerland with his grown children: John, Peter, Magdalina, Samuel, and Anna Maria. Samuel married Mary ZIMMERMAN, daughter of John and Hannah (MCQUILLING) ZIMMERMAN, who came from Somerset Co., PA to OH, living for a time in Holmes Co., OH before settling in the Delta area in 1839. John and Hannah were the parents of twelve children, Mary being one of the oldest, if not the oldest.

Looking for info on lives of Joseph KOLB (1853-1923) and Carrie OAKLEY KOLB (1855-1893). I know the dates, I just don"t know anything else, like what they did, who they were, etc.Does antone out there know anything about this family?

I would like more information on the LEININGER family. This surname has also been found spelled LININGER, LEININGEN, and VON LEININGEN. This family once ruled an area in Western Germany near Alsace. They came to the U.S. in two periods: in the 1600's and in 1837. My great-great-great-grandfather, Conrad Leininger/Lininger was born in Hesse-Darmsdadt in 1818. I would like to trace that lineage to the German royalty. Please e-mail me if you have any info on this surname or Conrad Leininger.

William S. SMITH, b. 1867, marr. to Sarah R,(WEAVER?) b. Aug 1870. They were listed in the Franklin Twp, Fulton Co., 1910 census along with children Sherman, Mable and Arthur. His mother, Anliza SMITH, b. June 1824, NY, was living with them. Does anyone know of this SMITH family?

Rachel MYERS PAGE obituary. We have been trying to find the date of death for our great grandmother, Rachel MYERS PAGE. Have been told (old family tales) that she died near Fulton Co. some place called ?Ipaya?. We have not been able to find any family information on her. This is what we do know: brn Sept. 20, 1829 some where in Ohio. Married Willliam PAGE Oct. 1847 in Clinton, Iowa. Raised a large family in Ohio starting about 1848 thru 1851 and the balance of her family was born in Illinois 1855 thr 1871(not sure about these 1870's dates). Would appreciate any help that you can give us. Thanks for trying. Z

Seeking information on the Peter MILLER family of Fulton county. I know that Peter's wife was Catherine and both were from Pa. The 1850 census lists Charlotte in the household but cannot find her after that. Son was
Joseph Peter MILLER - need info on his first wife (Julia) second wife Sarah Temperance FARNSWORTH of Lucas county. Need to find out what happened to children of second marriage. John W. MILLER and Ernest Edson MILLER. I have Ernest marry an individual named Ola with two children Caranah and Helen. Need to fill in the gaps and find out if any relatives still in the area. Thanks for any help.
