I am looking for any information on Moritz RACHLEY (Originally spelled RAACHLEY, later spelled RITCHLEY or RICHLEY) who lived in Gorham Township of Fulton County prior to buying property in Millcreek Township of Williams County on April 2, 1859. I am not sure if he owned property in Gorham Township, or how long he lived there but it could be as long as from 1840 - 1859. Moritz came to America from Bingen on the Rhine, Germany in about 1805, but we do not know any of his life from 1805 to 1859 other than that he had 3 wives and children with each wife during this time period. The third wife was Sarah PONTIUS or PONTIOUS. We understand she lived with him in Gorham Township.

MCARTHUR, PORTER families information: I have record that my great, great grandmother, Helen(e) Marion MCARTHUR, was born at Elmira, (Elyria?) Fulton Co(?)., Ohio on January 1st, 1873. On her death certificate (died 19 Aug 1947 @ Detroit, Mich), it noted that she was the daughter of William and Ellen MCARTHUR.Both William and Ellen (n o maiden name given) are listed as born in Canada. Helen MCARTHUR married Ira Franklin PORTER (born 27 Dec 1871 @ Steuben Co., Indiana) some time in the mid 1890'2 - exact time and place unknown. They later moved to Saginaw Michigan, then on to Detroit. I am looking for any informtion on the MCARTHUR family of Ohio. Since the death certificate contains an overcorrected "typo", that is difficult to read, there is a chance that she was actually born in Elyria, Ohio. I do not have any more information on this family other than what I have quoted. Any assistance would be most appreciat ed. Thanks, Keith M. Steffke Lincoln Park, Michigan.

According to my father they lived in Wauseon, Fulton Co., Ohio and he believes they were married there. The best "guess-timate" I have is that they may have married som e time in the 1890's. If you have information you could share with me I would be most appreciative.

PEASE and Enfield HANCOCK PEASE married Oct. 1838 in Conn. and had these children, born and raised in Delta area. Edwin J. (James-?)Pease Minnie A. Pease Julia A. Pease Charles J. Pease James Ansel Pease....I found married in 1876 Martha Pease...also found married in 1875 Others could be around 1888-1893-4.since James and Martha appear to be the oldest of the children.
