Descendants of John Hancock Generation No. 1 1. John1 HANCOCK was born April 07, 1798 in England. He married Elizabeth MORRIS? 1816 in England. Children of John HANCOCK and Elizabeth MORRIS? are: i. Enfield2 HANCOCK, ? b. August 08, 1825. ii. John HANCOCK, ? b. August 15, 1827, OH; d. September 19, 1915, Colon Saunders, NE. 2. iii. Elizabeth HANCOCK, b. 1831, OH; d. November 12, 1863. iv. Albert HANCOCK, b. 1837. v. Alfred HANCOCK, b. 1839. I think that Enfield and John are siblings although they were already out of home by 1850 census. Generation No. 2 2. Elizabeth2 HANCOCK (JOHN1) was born 1831 in OH, and died November 12, 1863. She married Christopher H. LOZIER November 01, 1852 in Fulton Co. OH, son of John LOZIER and Nancy BERRY. Mary NORRIS BARNES died in Fulton Co., OH. 15 Sep 1850. Husband was Ozias BARNES of Frederick Co., MD. Did Mary have a child or chldren in Fulton Co.? She was still in MD. in the 1850 census and must have died shortly after arriving in Fulton Co. Anyone recognize the name of BARNES in the area? Anyone know what cemetery she is buried in? Thanks. I have copies of tax records that indicate my Great-Grandfather lived in Fulton county from 1866 to 1898. His name is Elbert M. BOWKER. He was born Jul 12, 1844. He married his first wife Emily JOHNSON on Sep 25, 1864. I do not have anything to say if they divorced or she died. He married his second wife Augusta HARTELL on Oct 9, 1872. His children are Frank H., Oriamay Elizabeth(my Grandmother), Claribel, Ross H and Florence. I also have some names and dates that go back to to early 1700's. I have dates but I do not have any locations for anyone other than E. M. Bowker.
