I have been looking for info concerning the John Dunbar, my 2nd-great-grandfather, for some 20+ years. Any help would be appreciated.Surnames DUNBAR, FASNAUGHT. John W DUNBAR (dates not proven) married Sarah M FASNAUGHT (1872-?) on 19 Dec 1888 in Henry Co., OH. Approved by Sarah's father, Barney FASNAUGHT, on account of the fact that Sarah was only 16 years old. Fact: Sarah grew up in York, Fulton Co., OH. Later moved, or county was restructured, to Henry Co. OH. A Leander Dunbar (b. 1834) with a son named John, lived in fairly close proximity to the Fasnaught family. It is believed that this is the John me and my family have been searching for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
