Seeking anyone with information about the early history of the West Franklin Disciples' Church in Franklin Twp. This is not the W. Franklin Methodist Church, but may now be called the West Franklin Church of Christ. Is the church still active? Is there someone to contact who might know about church records or history? Members of the MCLAUGHLIN and BEATTY families attended this church in its early years. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

I'm looking for information on Jacob HUTH, and on his brother Leonard HUTH. Jacob was a farmer and a Mexican War veteran from Tuscarawas County who settled in Delta in 1855, raised a family, and died there in 1892. His younger brother Leonard HUTH enlisted in Co. H, 100th O.V.I while he was either visiting or working for his brother in Delta. I would like to find some local information about how the 100th OVI was formed, and about Jacob's descendants. His daughters' married names were CLOSE and STURTEVANT. I have Jacob HUTH's family going back several generations (to about 1640) in Gemany, and would be happy to share.
