I am trying to find when a uncle died and cannot find nothing on him. He was born in Metamora, Ohio. Father was Alpha B. CARR and mother was Viola. I believe he was born in 1900. His wife was Enid CARR who died in 1943. In the obituary it said Alvin W. CARR was a merchant marine officer somewhere on the Atlantic. That is all the information I have on Alvin. A family member said he might of died at sea but no one will help me because I have no birth certiicate or social security number. Can any of your reseachers help find anything on him to help me get a death date a where he died. Children Robert, Geraldine and June. My ancestor Norris PALMER resided in Fulton Co from 1855 till his death in August 1885. His wife and son are buried in Pleasant View Cemetery. He supposedly remarried after wife's death in 1880 to a Colista MATTERN. I have his obit but... cannot find where he is buried. The sexton at Pleasant View has no record of him being buried with his first wife Mary Ann and son. Can anyone help me? Mailing Address is 5136 29th Place, Kenosha, WI 53144 I have been to Fulton Co on several occasions and still am hitting a brick wall with regards to Norris sometimes seen Morris PALMER.
