Name found spelled on Anna SPENGLER YHALKEE gravestone as YA-CHALKE . Mailing Address is P.O. Box 329, Hollister, MO 65673. McCONKEY/CONKEY-- Was wondering if anyone connected to a family of this name? I am looking for an Elizabeth McCONKEY who may have married a (THOMAS?) GARRETT and had a son by the name of James MCCONKEY GARRETT who was born about 1800 in (reported to) one of East Central Ohio counties. James married 1st to Virginia SMITH about or before 1836 probaly Ohio and 2nd to Hannah M. McMAHAN/MAHAN (born probably Monroe County, Ohio) about 1844 in Brooke County, West VA. Should anyone know of or have any informaton about this lady (Elizabeth McCONKEY born about 1780?) would very much like to share information, please email me. John HARMON age 66, is found in the 1870 census of Henry Co., Freedom Twp. Would like to know parents, wife, children of John. I am researching Thomas YARNELL whose wife was Ann Elizabeth HARMON YARNELL. Thomas and Ann both died in the middle 60's and no evidence of where they are buried in Henry Co. One son is buried in Fluhart Cem beside Aunt Jane Jones. Thank you.

Hi, I'm Steve EDGAR, a descendant of Joseph EDGAR of Newry b. 1785. I believe that Joseph had 2 brothers, Samuel and George EDGAR, who migrated to Ohio in 1840/1850. The brothers had a farm in Keggall (Keghill,Kegeol, Kiggill. sic.) in County Armagh N Ireland and also rented land from the Earl of Charlemont.They attended Camlough parish church nearby.
