BUNDY - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, June 1, 1832 - Legal notice for claims against and debts owed to the estate of Elisha Bundy, late of Parkman. William Gales, administrator, notice dated May 15, 1832.


CLARK - - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, December 2, 1828 - "Died at Batavia, Doctor Joseph Clark, aged 59."


DAVIS - Geauga Gazette - Tuesday, May 3, 1832 - "Notice: Whereas my wife Melinda has absconded, and took with her bed and bedding and other property and has been absent from me two years on the 9th of May next - this is to forbid all persons harbouring or trusting her on my account, as I will pay no debts of her contracting after this date. Jonathan Davis, Thompson, April 8, 1832."

DENTON - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, June 15, 1832 - Legal notice of land sale to be held July 28, 1832, ordered by Court of Common Pleas on petition of the minor heirs of Evert Denton, late of Chardon, subject to widow's right of dower. Minor heirs were not named; their guardians were listed as Sidney Denton, Edward Paine, Jr., D. D. Aiken, and John O. Granger. Notice dated June 8, 1832.


EVANS - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, April 28, 1829 - "Married in Parkman on Thursday last by Nathaniel Moore, Esq., Mr. Silas Evans to Miss Polly McElroy, all of Parkman."


FAIRBANK - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, December 15, 1832 - Legal notice for claims against and debts owed to the estate of Abner H. Fairbank, late of Parkman. Alfred Phelps, administrator, notice dated December 8, 1832.

FLEMING - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, June 15, 1832 - Legal notice for claims against and debts owed to the estate of Matthew Fleming, late of Burton. Seabury Ford, administrator, notice dated June 1832.


GRISWOLD - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, January 20, 1829 - "Married in Thompson, on the 12th inst. by Charles Goodrich, Esq., Mr. Homer F. Griswold to Miss Laura Trumbull."


HENRY - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, September 22, 1832 - "Married at Newbury on the 4th inst. By the Rev. John Steward of Aurora, Mr. Calvin Henry of Bainbridge to Miss Florella L. Jackson of Auburn."

HICKCOX - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, April 14, 1829 - "Died in Newbury on the 9th inst. After a painful illness of several months, Miss Lavina Hickcox, daughter of Uri and Lydia Hickcox, aged 19."

HOBART - Geauga Gazette - Tuesday, May 1, 1832 - "Died in Russell on the 30th ult. after a long illness, Mrs. Sarah Hobart in the 75th year of her age."

HUKILLS - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, May 26, 1829 - "Married in Hambden on the 21st inst. by Warham Parsons, Esq., Mr. Jesse Hukills to Mrs. Sally Pease."

JOHNSON - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, September 23, 1828 - "Died in Burton, on Friday evening last, Benjamin Johnson, Esq., aged 69 years. The deceased was a Soldier of the Revolution, and one of the first settlers of this county. He was a man of stern integrity and virtue, and his loss is deeply deplored."

JONES - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, April 10, 1832 - Legal notice for claims against and debts owed to the estate of William Jones, late of Russell. Hiram Jones, administrator, notice dated March 20, 1832.


KEITH - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, June 1, 1832 - Legal notice of administrator's sale to settle the estate of Charles Keith. Arathusa Keith, Adm'x, notice dated May 26, 1832 at Chardon.

KNIGHTS - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, April 7, 1829 - "Married in Chardon on Sunday evening last, by the Rev. Mr. Collins, Mr. D. Knights, merchant of this village, to Miss Mary Ann Porter, of the former place."

PAINE - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, August 31, 1832 - "Died in Chardon on the 30th inst., Eleazer Paine, Esq., an esteemed and worthy citizen."

PARKMAN - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, December 2, 1828 - "Died at Parkman on the 24th ult., Mr. Albert Parkman, son of R. B. Parkman, Esq., aged 20 years."

SMITH - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, June 9, 1829 - "Notice: Whereas my wife Phebe has eloped from my bed and board without any sufficient cause, all persons are hereby forbid to harbour the said Phebe or trust her on my account, as I shall pay no debts of her contracting after this date. A. F. Smith, Huntsburg, June 2, 1829."

STOCKING - Geauga Gazette, Tuesday, June 23, 1829 - "Married in Hambden, on the 13th inst. by W. Parsons, Esq., Mr. Francis Stocking to Miss Betsey Kelley."
