Joseph ALEXANDER voted in Russell in the elections in 1831 and 1832.
Possibly the Joseph Alexander who married Laura SCOTT 31 Dec 1829,
and perhaps later Margette THWING 12 Sep 1862 in Munson. He may be the Joseph
ALEXANDER in Newbury in the 1830 and 1840 censuses.

Luther ALEXANDER voted in Russell in the elections in 1827, 1828, 1829, 1830, 1831, 1832, 1833, 1836, 1837 and 1838, when these
records end. He appears in the 1830 census OH GE RU 277 as 20/30; female 20/30; 1 male under 5.
He was appointed judge of elections in 1828, overseer of the poor in 1830. In 1829 he resided in the northern school district.
Not in the 1840 census of Russell. He purchased lot 87 in Briar Hill cem.,
and family members are buried there. He married 11 Mar 1827 in Newbury (license 89 NE; marriage B-65);
Melissa (Submit) MORTON. She may be the "Sabitha ALEXANDER"who owned lot 87 later.
Abiather ALEXANDER, son of Justin and Acenith ALEXANDER of Newbury; lived in Newbury.
