Alexander
Joseph ALEXANDER voted in Russell in the elections in 1831 and 1832. Possibly the Joseph Alexander who married Laura SCOTT 31 Dec 1829, and perhaps later Margette THWING 12 Sep 1862 in Munson. He may be the Joseph ALEXANDER in Newbury in the 1830 and 1840 censuses.

I. Charles ALEXANDER, "son of Joseph and Laura" married 14 Mar 1860 (license in Russell) Margaret FRENCH.

Luther ALEXANDER voted in Russell in the elections in 1827, 1828, 1829, 1830, 1831, 1832, 1833, 1836, 1837 and 1838, when these records end. He appears in the 1830 census OH GE RU 277 as 20/30; female 20/30; 1 male under 5. He was appointed judge of elections in 1828, overseer of the poor in 1830. In 1829 he resided in the northern school district. Not in the 1840 census of Russell. He purchased lot 87 in Briar Hill cem., and family members are buried there. He married 11 Mar 1827 in Newbury (license 89 NE; marriage B-65);
Melissa (Submit) MORTON. She may be the "Sabitha ALEXANDER"who owned lot 87 later.

Abiather ALEXANDER, son of Justin and Acenith ALEXANDER of Newbury; lived in Newbury. Estate receipt for lot 87 in Briar Hill, where he is buried in Russell; died Jul 1883; marr. in Newbury 6 Aug 1831:

III. Julia, b. c1835; perhaps the Julia who married Jackson MORRIS 7 Sep 1854; bur in Munson.
IV. Riley, b 15 Dec. 1838 in Newbury; d. 7 Jan 1903; marr. 25 Oct 1863 (F-26) Lurinda WEBSTER; died in Bainbridge; buried in Briar Hill cem. Riley ALEXANDER 15 Dec 1838-7 Jan 1903; Lurinda/ w/o R. 1841-1914" Lot 3-20.
V. Harrison, b. 1848; married 30 Dec 1875 Carolyn EDIC, d/o George EDIC. He married (2) Zilla SEGAR GOULD, and ?(3) Helen LAUGHLIN. Died in Burton of organic heart disease; buried Briar Hill. "Harrison ALEXANDER d. 20 Apr 1925 ae 74y 10m 12d.; Helen C. LAUGHLIN, w/o H.F."
VI. Abbott; died in Newbury of organic heart disease, buried Briar Hill 13 Feb 1911.
VII. (Eva) Evangeline, marr. 29 Dec 1886 Charles MCCLINTOCK.
