Ruth Boorom was born June 5, 1906 at the City Hospital In Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH. The record of her birth found at Cincinnati Bd. of Health lists her parents as Frank Boorom & Maggie Dunlap, delivered by Dr. A T Heavanrich. Her death record, also located at Cincinnati. Bd. of Health lists her as Ruth Booron, date of death as Mar. 10, 1908 of Capillary Bronchitis. Weslyean Cemetery records also list her as Ruth Booron, buried Mar. 13, 1908 Sec. V, Grave 56 which has not yet been located.

Ruth was the 5th and final child of Frank Boorom & Maggie Dunlap, of which 3 survived beyond childhood. Her siblings were Fredrick McClean Boorom (Dec. 1, 1895-Nov. 1, 1930), Arthur Frank Boorom (Sep. 23, 1897-May 12, 1972) Robert (b. & d. bef. 1900), & Frances Mary Boorom (Sep. 20, 1901-Jul. 26, 1984).

Ruth's father, Frank Boorom, was born Feb. 28, 1871 Pleasant Plain, Harlan Twp., Warren Co. OH, son of Frederick Boorom and Mary Elizabeth Fitzwater. Frank died sometime after 1928.

Ruth's mother, Maggie (Margaret Mae) Dunlap was born Jan. 11, 1874 Clermont Co., OH, daughter of James Dunlap and Ruth Randall. Maggie died may 29, 1947 Cincinnati OH and is buried at Baltimore Pike Cemetery.
