William Taylor

William Taylor was born in Grainsby, Lincolnshire, England on July 26, 1783. William married Elizabeth Wells on December 26, 1803 in North Thoresby, Lincolnshire.

William and Elizabeth and all but one of their 10 children moved to Cincinnati in the mid-1800s. Elizabeth died of cholera July 1, 1849 and William died June 19, 1859. Both are buried in Lot 13, Section H, with their son Richard and some of his family. William's son, Thomas Taylor, and daughter Hannah Alves, along with several grandchildren, are also buried in Wesleyan Cemetery.

William and Elizabeth have many descendants, among them Grace Linden and Diane Schmidt.
