Notes: * William died before his wife, Dolly, as she is referred to as his "relict" on her tombstone. "Relict" is a term used to indicate that the person's spouse died before they did. More information from Carolyn Lundgren: William Sargent and Dolly Rouse are the parents of four children that I know of: Dolly Sargent, who married Simon Rouse on 6 Dec 1846 Eunice Sargent, born 25 Nov 1819 in Cincinnati, died 15 May 1826 James Nathaniel Sargent, born in Cincinnati on 24 May 1828, died 28 Apr 1832 Melvina Sargent, born in Cincinnati on 17 Oct 1833, died 31 Mar 1839 William's brother, David Sargent, and family are also buried at Wesleyan.
