Section O

Tombstone of Warren Neal Mathews, born in 1925, he died Sept. 13, 1964. Also known as "Peanut", he was the son of Alva and Rosa Mathews and brother of Raymond Mathews, who is also buried at Wesleyan.

Section P

Note from Cindy Crawford: I visited Wesleyan in the summer of 1999, attempting to find the graves of my great grandparents, Charles S. and Armada Lane Richmond. I know that they are supposed to have stones, but was unable to find them. Many of the stones in the area of Section P are falling, leaning, or laying broken on the ground.

Missing tombstone of Charles S. Richmond. Charles S. Richmond died at the age of 86 years on March 17, 1953, and is buried in Gr 1N E 1/2 Lot 38. He was the husband of Armada Lane Richmond, who is supposed to be buried in Section E, which is right across the road from Section P.

Before and after pictures of the tombstone of Rosa Mathews, born July 6, 1889, and died April 13, 1958.

Tombstone of Raymond Mathews. Born in 1915, he died on March 20, 1943. Raymond was the son of Alva and Rosa Mathews.

Tombstone of William Steinmetz. Born in Sept. 2, 1847, he died on June 10, 1903. William served in the 83rd Indiana Infantry, Co. G.

Section T

Note from Cindy Crawford: I visited Wesleyan in the summer of 1999, attempting to find the grave of my great grandfather's brother, Carl Alonzo Richmond and his wife Mary Jane Setters Richmond, who are buried in Section T. I was unable to locate their stones, and I have often wondered if Carl's & Mary's stone is one on the side of the building along with others.

Section T, Lot #24, Grave 1 - Grave of John Reed Richmond, 1892-1957. The marker reads "John Reed Richmond, Dec. 12, 1957 65 Yrs."

Section T, Lot #24, Grave 2 - Grave of Beatrice Kenney, who died 2-18-1945 at the age of 35. Beatrice was the half-sister of Rosemary Leibrook.

Note from Rosemary Leibrook: My father told me someone is buried underneath Delores. I remember he called the person a her. I have forgotten who it is. My father always called Delores "Baby", and said she was buried on top of "her".

Section T, Lot #24, Grave 4 - Grave of Mary Jane Setters Richmond, who died on 5-17-1907 at the age of 38 yrs. Mary Jane Setters Richmond is the first wife of Carl Alonzo Richmond who is also buried at Wesleyan.

Section T, Lot #24, Grave 5 - Grave of Carl Alonzo Richmond, who died 7-2-1931. He purchased this lot (Lot #24) on 5-7-1907. Carl Alonzo Richmond was the husband of (first) Mary Jane Setters and (second) Flora Richmond, and the brother of Charles Richmond, all of whom are buried at Wesleyan.

Section T, Lot #24, Grave 6 - Grave of Flora Morrow Richmond, who died 2-6-1924. Flora Morrow Richmond was the second wife of Carl Alonzo Richmond, who is also buried at Wesleyan.

Section V

Note from Cindy Crawford: I visited Wesleyan in the summer of 1999, attempting to find the grave of my great grandfather, Francis Marion Eddy. I know that he is supposed to be buried in Section V, which is very near the front gate. I was unable to find a stone, and no one would show me exactly where he was buried.

Missing tombstone of Francis Marion Eddy. Francis Marion Eddy died in 1906, and was buried under the wrong spelling of his name (i.e. Francis Marion Eddie).

Ruth Boorom died on March 10, 1908, at the age of 1 year, 9 months and 6 days, and was buried in Section V, grave 56, which has not been located.
