John CROM and Margaret MILLER migrated to Harrison County (North Twp.) from Pennsylvania prior to 1819 (probably before 1810) and lived there with several members of their family until 1830 or 1831 before moving on to Wood County, Ohio. John, and his oldest son Jacob my great great grandfather, were ministers in the United Brethren Church as well as farmers. I'm searching for (1)documentation of where in Pennsylvania or elsewhere the lived before coming to Harrison County and (2) the parentage of John (born 5 Jan 1781) and Margaret (born 1780)--both in Pennsylvania. Many thanks for any leads.
Interested in learning more about my G. Grandmother Sallie BRANSON, who married William CANNON on 2 apr 1874. I recently found out that Cynthia BRANSON and her brother John BRANSON were listed in the 1870 census for Athens township but don't know if there are related. She died in 1881 and was buried in the Old Methodist Cemetary, New Athens, Harrison County. Her name (Sallie CANNON) is inscribed on the stone in front of the Methodist Church along with several CANNON's. Also would like any history on the CANNON's who came to New Athens and Harrision County in the early 1800's. I understand there are still CANNON descendants in New Athens area. Gussie CANNON WATSON lived in New Athens until sometime after 1988.

Cavan, Ireland John and Jane were married in Co.
