Seeking informaion on Tobias (MOHR) MOORE, Jr. (b. 5 Aug 1829 Cochocton Co., OH - d. 27 Dec 1912 Reno Co., KS) and his wife Hannah WALTMAN (b. 23 Feb 1844 Harrison Co., OH - d. 4 Nov 1924 Sedgwick Co., KS). These are my 2gr grandparents.
I am looking for Isaac SHANNON, born about 1771. Died 20 Sept 1848 in Harrison County. Married Jane PORTER, who died in 1869 in Harrison County. They had a son, Nathan SHANNON who married Mary ENDSLEY in 1820 in Harrison County.

My great-grandfather was Samuel Bushfield WADDLE, born in 1828 at Hopedale, Harrison Co. Ohio. His father was Isaac and Isaac's father was Alexander. Any one out there looking for information; we might exchange. They apparently were from Scotland, family lore says Glasgow. Help? Thanks.
Looking for a connection with the family of George Washington BATTIN (spelled BATTEN in 1880 McDonough Co., IL census). He was b. OH, Dec. 11, 1835, as were his father and mother. We know that George was a twin but do not know the name of his brother. He served in Civil War and settled first in IL, then Oberland, KS, and then returned to McDonough Co., IL. He died. Aug. 29, 1917. He mar. Nancy P. WILLIS, listed as age 42 in McDonough Co., IL, 1880 census. She was b. in OH, her father was b. in DE and her mother in OH. Children of G.W. and Nancy were: William, Sallie, Lidy, Daisey, Achsah (all listed in 1880 census). Thank you for any assistance.

Searching for information on Hugh Patton BARR born in 1800 in Penn died in New Rumley, Harrison County, OH. He was married to Nancy HENDERSON she died in New Rumley in the spring of 1838 or 1839.
