MCCOY, WALKER posted by Laurence E. Dickerson on Saturday, April 3, 1999

Does anyone have information on Martin WALKER who died in Harrison County prior to September 1822? Might he have been the father of Eliza WALKER who was born in Athens Township on 30 March 1819? Eliza married John MCCOY on 28 May 1839. Was Eliza's mother the Mary WALKER only four lines above John's father, Thomas MCCOY, on the 1830 census? Does anyone know of evidence for a marriage between Martin WALKER and Mary _?_ My only "evidence" is that Eliza named one of her sons Martin. I would appreciate any help in either proving or disproving this theory.
