It is a non-profit and non-political organization. There are nearly 180,000 members in approximately 3,000 chapters in the United States and throughout other parts of the world. Ohio has 109 chapters with approximately 6,000 members. Hetuck Chapter now has 97 members.  </FONT></DIV> <DIV ALIGN=center class=s0> <FONT style='color:#B99342;font-family:"Trebuchet MS";font-size:14pt;font-weight:normal;'> NSDAR focuses mainly on historic preservation, promotion of education, and patriotism.   </FONT></DIV> <DIV ALIGN=center class=s0> <FONT style='color:#B99342;font-family:"Trebuchet MS";font-size:14pt;font-weight:normal;'>NSDAR headquarters is in Washington D.C. and covers a complete block near the White House.  The complex is comprised of three buildings: Memorial Continental Hall, DAR Constitution Hall, and the Administration Building.
