GORDON HOUGH

BERLIN HEIGHTS- Gordon Hough, 59, a machinist for the Kohlman Machine Co., Norwalk , for the past 17 years, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at Fisher-Titus Hospital , Norwalk .

Born in Berlin Township , he lived there all his life. He was a member of the Erie Lodge 239, A and FM, an auxiliary deputy in the Huron County Traffic Unit, and was one of the founders of the Huron County Sheriffs Emergency Net, a group of radio operators that worked with the sheriff's department.

Surviving are his wife, Gertrude, four step-sons, Thomas Crecelius, of Milan, Ralph Smith, of New London, Norman Smith, of Liberty, Mo., Richard Smith, of Fitchville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Jean Springer, of Monroeville, Mrs. Lucille Lemmerman, of Shelby; one brother, Ainslie, of Marion, Ind.

His first wife, Edna, died in 1962.

Friends will be received at the Hinman Funeral Home tomorrow and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Masonic memorial services will be held by the Erie Lodge Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Clyde Cox of Edison Memorial United Methodist Church, Milan, officiating.
