Margaret L. Hillman, 51, of Milan, died Monday night at her residence following a seven-year illness.

Born in Willard, Mrs. Hillman had lived in Milan for the past five months, after returning from Dania, Fla., where she had been employed. Mrs. Hillman previously lived in Norwalk, where she was a former employee of the Norwalk Furniture Corp.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth, of Norwalk; three grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Gertha Ritz of Milan; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Gurney of Milan; two brothers, Richard L. Ritz of Milan and Robert L. Ritz of Vermilion; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Rawle-Kubach-Smith Funeral Home, Milan, where the funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Bill Auth, pastor of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Milan, officiating.

Burial will be in Milan Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, Sandusky, or the American Cancer Society.
