WILLIAM D. (BILL) HYDE
WAKEMAN – William D. (Bill) Hyde, 76, of Fitchville River Road, Clarksfield, died Wednesday morning at his residence following a short illness.
Born in Wakeman, he lived most of his life in the Wakeman and Clarksfield areas. He had formerly been employed by John Selka Construction for 15 years, and Parsons Moving for 16 years.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Mona; two sons, Merritt (Bob) at home and William Jr. (Bimbo) of Elyria; six stepchildren, Richard, Clyde, Kenny, May, Ronald and Anna and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. until service time of 1 p.m. at the Gerber Funeral Home, Wakeman. Rev. Dana Welch, pastor of Wakeman Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Wakeman Cemetery.
