Mrs. Nettie Atherton
Norwalk -- Mrs. Nettie Atherton, 74, Rt. 61 South, died Thursday at Fisher-Titus Hospital after a long illness.
Born here, she had been a lifelong resident of the area. Her husband, Cecil, died in August, 1959.
Surviving are a son, Cecil Jr. of Peru Twp.; three daughters, Mrs. Blanche Sheffield of Jefferson, O., Mrs. Marian Baumgardner of Centralia, Wash., and Mrs Annabelle Joki of Ashtabula; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Dutsch of Norwalk, Mrs. Aurilla Barnes of Wakeman and Mrs. Ruth Delgren, Elyria. One sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call afternoon Friday at Heaston Funeral Home, 92 E. Main St. where funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Brighton Cemetery, Peru Twp.
