
The home of Frederick and Teresa Haysler,
in the 400 block of Linden Street in Steubenville. The family album caption
identifies on the little boy on the right - Edward Walter Haysler(1886-1929).
The picture would have been taken in the early 1890's.

Teresa Kraft(Craft) Haysler(1844 - 1913),
daughter of Louis Kraft(Craft) and wife of Frederick Thomas Haysler. She was
born in Germany in 1844 and immigrated to Steubenville with her family. She
married in 1860 and in the next 26 years gave birth to twelve children, eight of
whom grew to adulthood. She is buried in Union Cemetery with her husband and
many of her children. She is pictured here about 1892 with her six year old son,
Edward Walter Haysler.

Frederick Thomas Haysler(1829 - 1905). He
was born in Germany and immigrated to this country about 1852, settling in
Jefferson County Ohio where he met and married his wife Teresa Kraft(Craft).
They married in 1860. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a stationary
engineer by trade.

Alwin J. "Alva" Haysler(1869 - 1941). He
was the son of Frederick Thomas and Teresa Kraft Haysler and husband of Suzanna
Ferguson Haysler. His children were Thomas Edward Haysler, Lillian M. Haysler
Milewsky and Helen Catherine Haysler Meagher. Alwin and his wife are buried at
Union Cemetery.

Suzanna "Annie" Ferguson Haysler (1872 -
1947), daughter of Joseph & Susanna Thompson Ferguson. She was the wife of
Alwin "Alva" Haysler and the mother of Thomas Edward Haysler, Lillian M. Haysler
Milewsky and Helen Catherine Haysler Meagher. Date of picture is
unknown.
