Price Home Through the Years

Contributed by Carol Staudinger

From Carol:

Following is a short story about how I became a Price.

Maynard Robert Hagedon Price My dad was the son of Charles & Maude Inez Hagedon. His parents passed away when he was 9 years old and he went to live with the Prices' in Mt. Pleasant. When he turned 18 years of age and had lived with the Prices' for the last 9 years he decided to take the Price name as his own. He traveled back and forth between Mt. Pleasant and Toledo, OH for many years until he met and married my mother. They lived in Harrisville for a year and than in Mt. Pleasant for several more before returning to Toledo to make this their permant home. I was told that Harry E. Price was killed in a bank robbery in Mt. Pleasant in 1923. I have not been able to locate any information on this fact. If you happen to come across anything, I would appreciate you letting me know so I can add it to my ever growing collection of information.
