Color Guard
The John Hancock Chapter has established a Revolutionary War based Color Guard. The purpose of the Color Guard is to increase community awareness of the Sons of the American Revolution and to serve in official and patriotic functions including parades, funerals, patriot grave markings and patriotic ceremonies such as naturalizations. If you are interested in the John Hancock Chapter Color Guard to assist at your event, please contact chapter president, Daniel Haas
Speakers Bureau
The John Hancock Chapter has also established a speakers bureau, to provide historical presentations to clubs, groups and community organizations. Primary presentations include topics such as "The Life of a Revolutionary War Soldier" and "The Revolutionary War on the Ohio Frontier". Typically presented in period uniform and demonstrating period clothing, arms and accoutrements. Again contact chapter president Daniel Haas if you have interest.
