Elyria is our county seat and Wellington Village is the home of our county fair. The photo above is Lorain Harbor Lighthouse located at the mouth of the Black River.

Wellington Town Hall c. 1885 still stands today and houses the Wellington Police, the Village's government offices, and where the Wellington Genealogical Group meets. The steeple to the right is part of Wellington United Methodist Church has been repaired. The new steeple is up on the church as seen on the photo below.
