Sept 8 - "Genetic Genealogy: Using DNA to find Your Ancestors"
Dr. James Freed, retired professor of zoology at Ohio Wesleyan
University,past President of Delaware County Chapter - OGS.
Program will emphasize paternal Y chromosome DNA studies and
maternal Myochondrial DNA studies and starting ones own
surname DNA study.
OCT 11 - Lineage Society Banquet - Holiday Inn, Midway Mall,
Elyria, OH

Alan Rabe of the Family History Center of Kirtland.
Discussion of the FamilySearch website and related new websites
including Labs and Indexing. New databases available for free at
the Family History Centers and online catalog.

Judy Nedwick, Lorain County Recorder, will outline the holdings
and contents of records maintained at the Lorain County Recorders
Office.
