The following list contains the names and dates of most of the newspapers published in Lorain County that have been microfilmed. All of these newspapers are available for viewing at Lorain and Elyria Public Libraries. Many of these microfilms can be obtained by interlibrary-loan through your local library or from The UNITED STATES NEWSPAPER PROGRAM. For those films that cannot be borrowed, limited lookups can be had by writing or calling the Lorain or Elyria public library. Lorain library also maintains a local obituary index beginning with 1968.
