HOOVER, Ala. -- Theodore W. Malinovsky, 24, of Hoover, Ala., formerly of Lorain, died Monday, July 30, 2001, while vacationing in Fort Myers Beach, Fla., after a lifelong illness. He was born Jan. 25, 1977 in Lorain and lived in Vermilion until moving to Alabama in 1983.  He graduated form Hoover High School in 1996 and was attending Jefferson State Community College in Alabama.
Malinovsky was employed at Tropical Smoothies in Hoover, Ala. He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic hurch, Hoover, and a former member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Elyria. He enjoyed playing pool and was a member of the American Pool Association. He had also played Little League baseball. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Kathy (nee Dellefield) of Hoover, Ala.; sister, Kimberly M. Anderson of Hoover, Ala.; a nephew and two nieces; his paternal grandmother, Janet Malinovsky of Lorain; and maternal grandmother, Clara Dellefield of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Theodore Malinovsky, in 1976.  Friends may call Friday 6 to 9 p.m. at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Services at the funeral home Saturday at 9:30 a.m. will be followed at 10 a.m. by Mass in St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 41295 North Ridge Road East, Elyria. The Rev. Julia T. Marshall, 87, of 323 W. 25th St., Lorain, died yesterday in St. Joseph Hospital following a long illness.  She was a member of St. Joseph Church and Ladies Guild.  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Maxwell, Sheffield Lake, Mrs. John W. (Rosemarie) Fitch, Garden City, Mich., Mrs. Theodore (Joan Havel, Hudson; three sons, William, Interlachen, Fla., John A., Warren, Mich., Robert, Lorain; 25 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.  Friends may call, 7 to 9 this evening; 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, Lorain, where parish rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. tomorrow. MARSHALL, Marijane Molly (nee Dellefield)
Marijane "Molly" Marshall  (nee Dellefield), 70, of Elyria died Wednesday March 28, 2001  at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following an illness of several months. Born in Elyria, she lived here most of her life and graduated from Elyria High School in 1948. She was employed by American Standard (later known as Tappan and then Smith Jones) as accounting supervisor for 27 years before retiring in 1982.  Mrs. Marshall was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Elyria. She also was a member of the Elyria VFW 1079 Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Fred C.;  a son,  Richard C., and a grandson, Guy Marshall, both of Herndon, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Mary (nee Mahlke) Dellefield; brothers Irvin and Robert Dellefield, and a sister, Lois Krueck. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. today and 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. in the Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave.,Elyria. The Rev. Kenneth L. Gerhardt will officiate. Robert E. Marshall, 70, of Lorain, died Thursday May 23, 1996, in Lorain Community/St. Joseph Regional Health Center, East Campus, following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 17, 1926, in Lorain, and was a lifelong resident. Marshall was a World War II U.S.Army veteran. He was a chief clerk for CSX Railroad, Lorain, for more than 40 years, retiring in 1987. He also worked at Thew Shovel/Koehring for four years.Marshall was a member of St. Joseph Church, Lorain, its Holy Name Society, and was auditor of the former St. Joseph Credit Union. He was a social member of Italian American Veterans, Lorain Moose, and American Slovak Club. He enjoyed dancing, crocheting, plastic canvas and reading. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Marge(nee Pappe); sons Wayne of LaGrange Township, and James and Robert, both of Lorain; daughter Mrs. Chris (Melanie) Barnicle of Amherst; four grandchildren; and sisters Mrs. J.W. (Rose) Fitch of Garden City, Mich., and Mrs. Ted (Joan) Havel of Aurora, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brothers Arthur, William and John; and sisters Evelyn Marshall, Lenore Steele and Dorothy Maxwell. John Martin Jr., died Wednesday, March 2, 1892 at the home of his parents here, aged 29 years and 11 months.  The funeral services were held Friday at St. Peter’s church, Rev. Hasfedlt officiating. He was injured some time ago at the Ohio Stone Company’s quarry while working on the railroad track and never recovered for the effects of his injuries received on that occasion.

Henry McDermott, 80, died this morning in his home, 1411 Washington av.  McDermott came to Lorain 25 years ago with his family from Brownhelm, where he had resided 35 years.  He was employed by the city as foreman in charge of street men, but has been retired for the past five years.  Surviving him are six children, Mrs. F.E.  Seward, Elyria;  Mrs. D.J. Foy, Henry and Michael, Toledo; Katherine and Thomas, this city.  He also leaves two brothers, John and Peter, Ireland, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Riley, Ireland:  Mrs. Delia Dormody, Cleveland.  Funeral plans under the direction of Reichlin, Reidy & Scanlan are pending.

McDERMOTT, Peter
DIED: 15 September 1905
Peter McDermit Killed Under Cars
Peter McDermit, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry McDermit, of 510 Charles street, and employed as a conductor by the B. & O., while in discharge of his duties, met with an accident last evening at 10:45 that resulted in instant death.   It is not known just how the accident occured.  Last evening he reported for duty at 6 o'clock at the yard office and as work was slack at the docks, where he was regularly assigned with a crew, he was instructed to go to the east yards to transfer coal form the B. & O. yards to the yard of the steel plant.  Up until the time of his death everything went along nicely and the terrible arrair was not discovered until a large number of cars had been shifted.  The crew was about to leave the steel plant yard when he was missed and a search was institued for him.  Almost immediately his mangled body was found lying on the track, part on one side and part on the other, his body being severed in two at the stomach.  Six or seven cars passed over it.  His right leg and left arm was badly mangled.  At the time of the accident he was engaged in cutting cars and it is believed that he stepped between two of them and caught his foot in some manner between the switch.  His body was immediately placed on the engine and taken to the yard office and from there to Wickens & Ransom's morgue.  This morning an inquest was held by Corner French.
McDermit had been employed by B. & O. for the past three years and was one of the most popular railroad men on the road.  He was unmarried and 24 years of age and a member of the B. of R.T., of this city and a Good Templars.  To mourn his death he leaves his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Henry McDermit, and two brothers and one sister.   Lorain Herald Times (The paper misspelled the last name, should read: McDermott)

MENGES, Edward H.  -   The Plain Dealer, 21 August 1996
Edward H. Menges retired in 1982 from the maintenance department at the GM Fisher Guide plant in Elyria,  where he had worked for 26 years.  Mr. Menges, 71, died Monday at home of complications of cancer.  He served in the Navy during World War II. Mr. Menges was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1079 in Elyria.  Mr. Menges, who enjoyed baseball, managed the Little League West team.  The Milton, Pa., native moved to the Elyria area as a youngster.  Before working at Fisher, Mr. Menges had worked for Colson Co. in Elyria.   Survivors include his wife, Ruth E.; sons, Donald E. and Gregory W., both of Elyria; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four sister.  Private services were held.   Arrangements are being handled by Curtis-Scheuffler-Busch Family Chapel in Elyria.  Memorial contributions may be sent to New Life Hospice, 5255 N. Frank P. McCreedy, 70, died suddenly from a heart attack about seven o'clock this morning at his home at his home, 187 South Main street.  He was born September 18, 1869 in Henrietta, and had been a resident of Oberlin for four years.  Besides his wife, Bertha, he leaves a son, William McCreedy of Huron, and two stepchildren, Mildred Bittner of Detroit and Claude Love of Lynwood, California.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 o'clock from the Sedgemank Funeral parlors with the Rev. mrs. Anna Hale of the Alliance Spiritualist church of Elyria in charge. Burial will be made in Camden Cemetery.

Jean R. McKitrick (nee Harold), 84, of Elyria Township, died suddenly Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at the Wesleyan Village. She was born May 7, 1925 in Lorain, where she graduated from Lorain High School in 1943 and moved to Elyria in 1946.   She was employed for 22 years at Republic Stee l in Elyria, retiring in 1985. She was a 50 year member of First United Methodist Church, Elyria and a 50 year member of Stone City Chapter No. 325 O.E.S., Amherst. She enjoyed reading, golf, bowling, quilting, ceramics, crossword puzzles and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   Jean is survived by a daughter, Judy A. Bruce of Elyria; son, John H. McKitrick of Diamond Bar, California; grandchildren, John McKitrick, Jr., Mickey McKitrick, Keilly Hsieh, Dawn Snider and Michael Bruce; 13 great- grandchildren; brother, Robert Harold of Perrysburgh; step-brother, Richard Pike of North Canton; step-sister, Mabel Barsan of Avon.   She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Howard D. “Babe” McKitrick in 2007; father, John Harold; mother and step-father, Ida and Walter Pike.   Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 6 P.M. until the time of a 7:30 Order of Eastern Star service at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. A funeral service will be Friday, July 31, 2009, 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Reverend Beth McKee, chaplain of Wesleyan Village, will officiate. Leukemia claims 'Red' McVeigh at 57
Keeping streets in good shape, digging ditches, and picking up are not glamour jobs, but such essential work was the province of Harold "Red" McVeigh, who devoted more than 30 of his 57 yeats to those labors in North Ridgemille.  Mr. McVeigh, who battled for a year against leukemia, died Sunday night at Elyria Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted one day earlier.  A lifelong North Ridgeville resident, he had retired as service department superintendent Jan. 1. Employed with the city 33 years, he had been road superintendent since Jan 2., 1980 when he was appointed by Mayor Richard Noll to replace Joe Bachna, who took the job back following Mr. McVeigh's retirement.  A member of the street department crew since 1950, Mr. McVeigh served as street superintendent from 1964-78.  In February, more than 200 officials and friends, including Noll and former mayors Charles Stuart and Paul Sweda, honored Mr. McVeigh with a surprise party, and a proclamation and plaque from Mayor Floyd Peaco naming Feb. 26 Harold E. McVeigh Day.  "I know he helped an awful lot of people," said Peaco this morning, adding "and the prayers of all the families here at city hall are with his family."  Until 1971, Mr. McVeigh was a part-time farmer, concentrationg on the growing of soy beans and corn.  Mr. McVeigh lived his entire life in the house where he was born. A graduate of North Ridgeville High School, his interests included restoring antique cars, and gardening. An avid horse racing fan, he frequently enjoyed races at Northfield Park.  He is survived by his wife, Lillian (nee Starkey), to whom he was married 37 years; sons, Glenn H. and Gary; and a daughter, Ellen, all of North Ridgeville; and four grandchildrenHe was preceded in death by his father, Everett, in 1966, and his mother, Fern, in 1963.  Friends may call at the Bogner Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Priscilla Shoup, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Christ, officiating. Burial wil be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.  Memorial contributions should be made to the First Congregational Church of Christ Memorial Fund.

Obituary, Belden, April 17,1881
Miss Elizabeth Welburn was born in Fimber, Yorkshire, England, May 14th,1791. Died April 11th, 1881, aged 90 years, and eleven months. She was married to Crispen Mennell, February 3rd, 1809. They immigrated to America in 1817, and settled in Albany, N.Y., where they resided for three years, they then moved to Pittsfield, Mass., where they lived for six years.In 1826, they came to Grafton, Lorain County, Ohio, where they continued to reside until the death of Mr. Mennell, which occurred May 22nd, 1857. Since that time Auntie (as she was familiarly known by her friends), has lived with her son, Mr. D. Mennell, and has ever been noted for her amiability and kindness of disposition. It was the writer’s privilege to be at her bedside during her last hours. Although her sufferings were intense, she neither murmured nor complained. She was highly respected by all who knew her, and her memory will long be cherished by her family and many friends. The funeral services were held in the M.E. Church at Belden, April 13th, 1881, and were conducted by Rev. G.L. Hanawalt, who preached an appropriate and impressive sermon from these words: “ Whoso offereth praise glorieth Me, and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God”.

AMHERST -- Leota Mae Merle, 90, of Amherst, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Welcome Nursing Home, Oberlin, following a lengthy illness. She was born April 19, 1914, in Brighton Township and lived all her life in the Oberlin area.  She was employed for the Northern Ohio Telephone Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1973.  She enjoyed bowling and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Sue A. Schnarr of River Bend, N.C., and Patricia L. Schnarr of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother, Ivan Grundy of Amherst; and four grandchildren, seven  great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Conrad Merle; parents, Ray and Eleanor (nee Stanifield) Grundy; and sister, Leila Ermina Rathwell.  Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cowling Funeral Home, 228 S. Main St., Oberlin, where services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain.

CLEVELAND -- Beth Marie Miglets, 36, of Cleveland, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 11, 2006. She was born Sept. 17, 1969, in Lorain, and had lived in Cleveland since moving from Amherst in 1986. She attended Amherst Steele High School, graduating in the class of 1988. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church when she was a resident of Amherst.
She worked for many years in the food service industry. Most recently she was employed in maintenance for a custodial service in Cleveland.  She enjoyed listening to rock'n' roll music.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Patricia A. (nee Johnson) and Geoffrey Spicker of Cleveland; father and stepmother, Charles S. and Diana Miglets of Parma; brother, Charles S. Miglets Jr.; and maternal grandparents Kenneth and Philomena Johnson of Amherst.  Friends may call Saturday, May 20, from 9:30 a.m. until time of memorial Mass at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amherst. MILIS, Jesse
Elyria Republican, Thursday April 5, 1894, LaPorte Area
Jesse Milis was born in Green county, Ohio in 1820.  He came to this county in 1833, and settled on Chestnut ridge on the farm on which he died on March 18, 1894, of pneumonia, after a brief illness.  He was the oldest of a large family, of which four brothers and two sisters survive him.  He was married March 2^nd, 1847 to Miss Jane M. Dewhurst of Carlisle, who with a son and daughter, is left to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate husband and father.  He was converted in early manhood and united with the Methodist church, and has always remained a earnest and faithful member. The family desire to return heartfelt thanks to all those who rendered assistance and sympathy in their hour of affliction.

BROWNHELM TOWNSHIP -- Dwight J. Miller, 75, of Brownhelm Township, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at Akron City Hospital, of injuries sustained in a fall at his home. He was born Sept. 20, 1925 in Brownhelm Township, where he had lived his entire life in the family home. He graduated from Brownhelm High School. He owned and operated Miller Farm Market in Brownhelm Township. Miller was a director of the Lorain County Farm Bureau, member of the Brownhelm Township Zoning Board and a member of Linwood Park Council of Religious Work. He was a 4-H advisor for 20 years and was a life member of the Ohio Fruit Growers Association, a past member of Lorain County Bee Keepers Association, member of Brownhelm Community Christmas and a member of the Farm Bureau Council 4-F. He enjoyed community Bible study and singing. He was a member of Church of the Open Door, attending the Messengers Class. He was a former member of Brownhelm Evangelical United Brethren, where he was active as a trustee and Sunday School superintendent and teacher. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shirley Ann (nee Eppley); sons Roger G. Miller and David D. Miller, both of Brownhelm, Vernon R. Miller of Alitou, Papua New Guinea, and Duane C. Miller of Medina; and 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Bertha (nee Kuellmer) Miller; sisters Beatrice Saley, Grace Miller and Emma Miller and a sister Elmira in infancy.  Friends may call Saturday 2 to 4 at Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Laurie M. Miller, 64, of 1330 Lakeview Ave., Lorain, died Monday in Lorain Community Hospital following a short illness. Born on Feb. 24, 1913, in Cleveland, he was an area resident 40 years.
He retired in 1968 from the U.S. Post Office where he had been employed as an accountant. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of First United  Methodist Church, Lorain, and the Lorain VFW.  He is survived by his wife, Ruby; one daughter, Juanita Miller of Lorain and one brother, Robert of Louisiana.  Friends will be received at the Schwartz, Spence and Boyer Funeral Home, Lorain, tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain.

Wellington, Apr. 21. A dangerous Maygar street railroad crossing claimed another victim yesterday afternoon when Nathan Miller, 74, was struck and killed by an east bound Big Four Flyer about four o'clock. Mr. Miller was driving a horse and wagon and as he approached his view to the west was obstructed by a string of cars.  A train was going west, and he waited for it to go by then drove on the tracks.  When the impact took place both Mr. Miller and the horse were instantly killed. The deceased lived on Courtland  Avenue and was a lifelong resident and was well and favorable known throught this vicinity.  He is survived by his wife and nine grown up children. Funeral arrangements have not be arranged yet. (d 20 Apr 1923)

He was born and raised in Wellington.  Prior to coming to Elyria two years ago, he had resided for 35 years in Wooster where he was employed by the Western Reserve Insurance Co. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door here. He is survived by his wife, Mildred (nee Baylor), two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) Barndollar, Elyria, and Mrs. Don (Hilda) Roth, South Bend, Ind.; four granddaughters, and five great grandchildren, a brother I. G. Miller, Elyria; and a sister, Mrs. Minerva Ward, Columbus. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Harold Dicken FUneral Home in Elyria with the Rev. Don Ingram officiating. She was a women's wear buyer for Tiedkes Department Store in Toledo 11 years before retiring in 1978.  She was a member and a past president of the American Business Women's Association of Toldeo. Surviving are her husband, Charles and brothers, Arnold and Dan Krugman, both of Lorain, and Reese Krugman, of Elyria. Anthony Minnich, 76, North Ridgeville Employee. North Ridgeville -- Anthony Peter "Tony" Minnich worked for the city of North Ridgeville's Street Department for 23 years.  He retired as an equipment operator in 1987.  Mr. Minnich, 76, died Friday at his home in North Ridgeville, where he had lived all his life.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, and was a volunteer with 4-H, the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts.
He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking and caring for his pets.  Survivors include his wife, Agnes Susan; sons, Raymond E. of Elyria, Robert Eugene of Cleveland, Paul Anthony of Strongsville and Michael Joseph of North Ridgeville; daughter, Jean Marie Kimmel of Lorain; stepson, Arron Hauzer of Missouri; four grandchildren; and two sisters.  His first wife, Ethel, is deceased.  Services will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.

Connie Walker Minnich, was school crossing guard Elyria -- Connie I. Minnich was known as Connie Walker when she worked as a crossing guard for the Elyria schools from the mid-1950s until 1964.  She was a past noble grand of the Rebekkah Lodge and charter member of the Church of the Open Door in Elyria.
Mrs. Minnich, 82, of Elyria, died Sunday at Hennis Care Center in Dover.  She was born in Huntington Township and lived in Elyria since early childhood.  In 1931, she graduated from Elyria High School.  Mrs. Minnich, who enjoyed making craft items with beads, was a member of the Carlisle Craft Club and the Carlisle Grange.
She and her first husband, Frank Walker, were the parents of two children.  He died in 1979.  Their daughter, Carol L. Peters, died the following year.
Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Gilbert; son Keith W. Walker of New Philadelphia; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Curtis-Scheuffler-Busch Family Chapel, 114 Second St., Elyria.

He was born in 1917 in Lorain. Moir was a veteran of World War II, serving 44 months in the South Pacific. He was employed as a social worker in Lorain County, and was also a partner in the L-O Paint Store, Lorain. He retired to Lehigh Acres, Fla., in 1980, later moving to Melrose, Fla. He enjoyed golf, gardening and his family. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Pat of Melrose; his daughters Leslie Harper of Melrose, Fla., Marcia Beltzer of St. Charles, Mich., Patricia Fischer of Vermilion, Margaret ''Peg'' Moir of Mansfield and Lisa Cardoza of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and his son, Dale of Lisle, Ill.; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. Private services will be held. MORAN, Laurie  -  Lorain Journal Oct. 7, 1982
Laurie A. Moran, 19, a 1981 graduate of Southview High School, was dead on arrival last evening at St. Joseph Hospital. Lorain County Coroner Dr. William Kishman ruled this morning she died of electric shock. According to hospital reports, Miss Moran was found unconscious by family members next to a grinding tool at her home.  She was transported to the hospital by Lorain police officers. A shortage of manpower, an injured rescue worker and a flurry of calls for assistance prevented the arrival of a rescue truck to the home, according to Fire Chief Alfred Damm.  Damm said Lt. Pat Costello arrived at the home with a pumper truck and immediately began cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, but there were no vital signs. A lifelong resident of Lorain, Miss Moran attended St. John
Elementary School and was active in the Art Club and Dramatic Arts at the high school. Miss Moran had worked at McDonalds on SR 254 for 2 1/2 years, and for the past two months at Sears at Great Northern Mall.  She was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Surviving are her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bill J. Moran; brother, Kirk Fitch of Lorain; sisters Mrs. Dary (Karen) Chawansky of Lorain, and Barbara and Tracey, both at home; her grandparents. Mrs. Helen Boughton of Lorain and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moran of Cucumber, W. Va. The family will receive friends tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9  p.m. at the John R. Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave.,Lorain, where a Christian Wake service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by 10 a.m. Mass at St. John Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Elyria -- Edward W. Murawski served in the Army in World War II and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1079.   Mr. Murawski, 79, of Elyria, died Thursday at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon.   He was born in Elyria and lived there his entire life.  He graduated from Elyria High School in 1937.   He worked as a carpentry foreman at the Elyria Foundry for 20 years and was a carpenter with R. B. Smith Construction Co. for many years.   He was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.   He was a life member of the United Polish Club and bowled with the St. Jude Church Bowling League for many years.   He enjoyed all sports and scored a hole-in-one in 1973 at Oberlin Country Club.   Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Eileen M.; sons, Jack of Elyria and Rick of LaGrange; daughters, Carol Roswell and Marcia Machovina, both of Elyria, and Sherri Crawford of Berlin Heights; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother.   Services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Ave., Elyria.   Reichlin-Roberts Funeral Home of Elyria is handling arrangements.

Mr. Myers was born April 16, 1884 and had resided in the same home for all his 68 years.  He was a farmer and a gas well driller.
Surviving are his wife Hattie; five daughters, Mrs. Grant Rundle of Columbia Station, Mrs. Leo Ackerman, Mrs. Leo Welter of North Ridgeville, Mrs. Wilson Stoskopf of Valley City, Mrs. Glenn Urig of Avon; one son Lawrence of Eaton township; six sisters, Mrs. Henry Smith of North Ridgeville, Mrs. William Jungblood of Sheffield Lake, Mrs. Elizabeth Horwedel of Cleveland, Mrs. Wren Burrer of Carlisle, Mrs. George Steigerwald of Cleveland and Mrs. M.B. The body was removed from the Leonard P. Reichlin Funeral Home this afternoon to the late home where services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. and from St. Peter's church.  The Rev. Fr. Francis Brucker will officiate and interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery.

Mrs. Hattie Myers, 76, of 5660 Otten Rd., North Ridgeville, died in her home at 6:55 p.m. yesterday.  She had been ill since June.
Mrs. Myers was born in Brook Park, August 17, 1885, and made her home in North Ridgeville for 51 years.  She was a member of St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the parish.  Surviving are a son, Lawrence of Eaton Township; five daughters, Mrs. Grant (Leona) Rundle, Columbia Station, Mrs. Leo (Dorothy) Ackerman and Mrs. Leo (Ruth) Welter, both of North Ridgeville, Mrs. Wilson (Jean) Stoskopf, Valley City, Mrs. Alice Urig, Avon;  17 grandchildren; four brothers, John Wensink, Elyria, Henry Wensink, Brook Park, George Wensink, Cleveland,  and Aloyisius Wensink, Parma; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Baldauf, Elyria, Mrs. Agnes Klingshirn of North Ridgeville, Mrs. Lawrence Klingshirn, Avon Lake.  Her husband, George, died in 1952 and a daughter, Marian, also preceded her in death.
