VANWORMER, Celia B. (DAGUE), - (newspaper not identified),

Celia B. VanWormer (nee Dague), 81, of Elyria, died
Tuesday at Elyria Memorial Hospital after a one-month illness. Born
in LaGrange, she graduated from Penfield High School and from a business
college. She lived in Elyria 60 years. Retired from the personnel
department at EMH, she also was a charter member of the Church of the Open
Door. She was active in the church’s Ladies Open Circle, was a former
deaconess, sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. Survivors
include a daughter, Beth Mezatasta of Lorain; a son, Terry A. of Prescott,
Ariz., 3 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and a brother, Morris Dague
of Jeromesville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Alan C. in 1981, brothers, Byron and Quinton Dague, and a sister, Sue Garman.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Thursday at the Dicken Funeral Home,
323 Middle Ave., Elyria, where services will be 11 am Friday, with the
Rev. Robert Schroyer, associate pastor of the church, officiating.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. Memorials may be
made to the Church of the Open Door Building for Tomorrow Fund.
