Lowell L Romick, the son of George Romick and Alice Mohr of Swanton, was born 7 Mar 1908 in Ridgewood, Ohio Union County, and lived in Toledo about 30 years. He resided on Chase Street. He had been an Operating Engineer in Construction for several firms, retiring in 1957. He was a member of Local 18, Operating Engineers Union. Lowell's Brothers were LeMoyne, of Swanton and Frank and Charles, of Toledo. sisters, Mrs. Leah Robertson, of Honor, Mich. and Mrs. Martha Grannis, of Toledo. He served in the United States Army, Enlisting on November 14, 1945. Tec4 Co A 879 Engr Avn Bn WWII He received the United States Army Honorable Discharge November 13th 1948. as Corporal. Lowell died on 14 Aug 1961 in theVeterans Administration Hospital, Ann Arbor, Mich. at the age of 53. He is buried at Forest Cemetery, Toledo Ohio.
