Abner Bickle &  } Know all men by these presents that we, Abner Bickle and Lucy
Lucy Hull       } Hull, formerly widow of Leonard Bickle, late of Meigs County, 
      to        } deceased heirs at law to the estate of Jacob Bickle, deceased,
John S. Giles   } consideration of the sum of Six hundred dollars in hand paid by John
                  S. Giles do hereby remise, release and forever quit
claim unto the said John S.Giles his heirs and assigns forever all our
title, interest & estate legal and equitable in the following premises
with the appurtenances situate in the Township of Rutland in the County of
Meigs and State of Ohio and bounded and described as follows to wit,
Beginning at the centre of section Seventeen in Town Six Range(14)
fourteen Ohio Companys purchase, thence south about one hundred rods or to
the creek, thence North westerly following the meanderings of said Creek
until it shall intersect the centre line running East and west through
said section seventeen, thence east ???? said centre line about one
hundred and fifty rods or to the centre of said section 17 and place of
beginning, containing fifty acres more or less. 

In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this first
day of January 1856.

Meigs County   ss } Before me G. Downing a Justice of the Peace in and for
                    said County personally appeared the within named Lucy
Hull and Abner Bickle and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the
within conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed this 1st day of
January 1856.
